They Call Me Shiny Moon Face

The biggest reason I hate putting my hair up is because I have what my dad calls 'Moon Face'
which is a really round face. When I was little, my dad used to tell me that my face was shaped like a moon. I always thought that was a good thing. When in fact, it was his way of saying 'your face is chubby.'

I love this as a day look. You look so nice. Parents and their comments can be so odd sometimes.

Random question: Shaving or Waxing which one is more common and which one would you recommend?

My daughter is 15 and I'm not sure what I should advise her to do..

I really like this look - it's both laid back and chic. Funny how I'm usually not a fan of mixing both golden with silver-ish but the combo you chose works for me, not hard on the eye at all! I also think you look really good with your hair in a ponytail, would never think of you as the one with a chubby or very round face!..

Jenny Cindy said...

Your face is not chubby at all ^o^
Love this outfit - very chic.
You look beautiful and that last pictures is just adorable!

Davina said...

That's funny because my parent used to tell me not to put my hair up either because I have a "round face." I don't think you have a round face at all, but it seems to be the Asian curse (or blessing depending on how you look at it). "Westerners" actually find round faces on Asians to be very beautiful, but we're so used to the angled/chiseled faces that graze the fashion magazines and catwalks in our Western culture :( We need more Devon Aokis!

Btw, I love how you wore your tube top as a skirt. I have a black sequined dress I just cut in half last week so that I could wear the bottom as a skirt as well.

You look so relaxed but so chic! Love the layering of your bracelet and watch.

Aw, you still look pretty with your hair up though!

And man, I would get tons of stares wearing an awesome skirt like that. Sigh, the down side of living in a small city where no one appreciates style.
