Pink is indeed no doubt a feminine color and oftentimes when used in an interior it either looks too childlike or Barbie-like. However, this Madrid house designed by Luis Puerta begs to differ. The pink mixed with neutral hues and pops of turquoise seem to create a calm and sophisticated living space.

It looks a bit 80's to me. don't you think? The mirrored walls, the carpeting and the pink.
The dusty pink decor is a good blend of softness and exquisiteness. The traditional furniture gives it a more mature appeal.

much love.
the shades of pink in the sitting room without fail make me think of pepto bismol and old people :(

Lovely!
So pretty. The pink and turquoise combination was done just right for adults. With the bronze and black elements it made it more sophisticated. I love the thought put into aging the hallway mirrors and carrying the turquoise and pink as accents into the bedroom. It's all so cohesive, I want my place to have the same feel. Thanks for posting and inspiring.
