I don't eat any land meat. Not really a vegetarian, but more of a pescatarian. I don't wear real fur (sorry I do own some leather goods) and I'm big on animal rights but, there's just one thing that I badly want... it's a cow hide rug!!!!
There's something so masculine yet sexy about it and adds a little character to any space. I probably will own one or maybe two in our new apartment and people will probably call me a hypocrite but I can't help it. I love cowhide! I'll just not invite people over who might throw eggs at me!

i feel the same way about meat and have just recently become a pescatarian! I love these spaces, they are so inspiring.
From where i come from ( South Africa ) you will find tons of cow hide rugs, it's just the norm here to have one.

Haha I love them too! I have two cowhide chairs, and a zebra rug...oops.
But really, did you know that about 15 years ago PETA was the top terrorist threat in America. I'd say they need to work on their image..

I completely agree! I'm vegan (diet wise) so I'm not partial to most things the are actual animal but I'm loving this cow hide rug... It's so sexy. Maybe there's a faux one roaming around somewhere, I hope!
