what an ingenious idea! it's practical and decorative at the same time. you can play around with the color of the molding so it doesn't have to be just a plain white color.

My shoes are aligned, halfway peeking from beneath my bed. Not particularly inventive, but it works for the space I have. Maybe when I'm in a home of my own that will change.

I would love to display my shoes like this, but I lack wall space, and most of my shoes have been worn to death and are too dirty to put on my cleanish wall. Right now, my shoes are sharing a giant shelf with my roommates' shoes, and some are stored away in their boxes in my room for safekeeping.

Love this!! I believe fashion is art and this is a great way to display that art :)
I love this but in my current apartment it gets dusty too quickly for me to display/store items this way. But I love the idea!! --I just keep my out of season shoes stacked in boxes at the top of my closet and keep the in-season ones in a large wooden bookshelf-esque shoe storage near my front door. :)
