Ashley Stark's Apartment. The Old in the New

I love it when people reuse their old furniture into their new homes and find a new place for them. The pictures above are of Ashley Stark's new Manhattan high rise featured in Elle Decor. The first picture is my absolute favorite featuring my dream chandelier by Jean de Merry.

I'm standing in front of a creation from one of my favorite street artists, Kai Aspire. His work isn't just a random vandalism on one's building, it's a tool to spread a positive message and to get people thinking.

I always have a hard time buying my dad a gift especially when it comes to clothes because he's so tall (6'4") and super picky. As you can see, my dad isn't just an ordinary dad. He's a super stylish one who lives in t-shirts and jeans (last outfit is his uniform). Spanish Charm

I'm so in love with this beautiful Spanish style home. It reminds me of this home I used to live in Glendale for a brief time with all the Spanish influences. I love how lived in this home looks and all the rustic architectural details are driving me nuts.. such as the stone wall, wooden beams, and the porous fireplace (I'm assuming it's concrete.)

I'm really not a fan of those black leather sofas but in this home, it works so well.

Now, let's talk about the blue and white chevron tiles in the kitchen with the army of Spanish men playing instruments. Wouldn't this make cooking that much more enjoyable? I might actually stay in the kitchen and cook rather than burning food!

Holiday Decor Guide, Part Two: Tabletop

This is my first official holiday dinner table set up and although I'm not really the hosting dinner parties type (I'm more of the eating type) this was fun to do. Like my first Holiday Decor Guide (seen here) I found most of my tabletop items at TJ Maxx/Marshalls. My favorite finds were definitely the blue ikat inspired plates and the candles that aren't just pretty to look at but also smell so good.

Surfing, eating, and just sitting outside looking at the waves.. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present!

Holiday Decor Guide, Part One: My Room

Ok, I admit I'm a bit late on decorating for the holidays. Traveling and working 12 hours a day has left me too exhausted and overwhelmed to decorate my own home. Thankfully to my rescue, T.J. Maxx/Marshalls had everything I needed to put me in the Holiday spirit. On one trip, I filled up my entire cart and was pleasantly shocked to hear my total was less than half of what I was expecting to pay.
